Project Manager

Summary

Looking for talented and professional Project Managers (PM) to work directly with our clients to complete assignments to meet the owners' schedule and budget requirements. This involves, among other duties, selecting designers and contractors, developing budgets and schedules, ensuring the timely involvement of authorities having jurisdiction, and managing and coordinating the work of the project team.

The Project Manager is the Owner's Advocate and is responsible for the management of project risks. The Project Manager may work as part of a larger team or may be assigned to independently, and with minimum supervision, manage all phases of a project.

Essential duties / Responsibilities

Includes the following directly, through subordinates, or through agents, consultants or contractors.

  • Acts as key point of contact for owner/client, architect/engineer, and general contractor
  • Protects owner’s interests through management of project risks, and commercial and legal aspects of contracts.
  • Recognizes early warning signs of risk and with assistance of senior staff, implements measures to minimize potential for litigation.
  • Ensures that vital information and documentation is provided to team members and organizational decision-makers in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for publishing of monthly and any special reports.
  • Responsible for the timely review of CCM's billing for services and for the correctness of the billing information.
  • Monitors the work and billings submitted by the design professional and/or contractor for appropriateness, timeliness and/or workmanship;
  • Reviews and resolves performance and billing problems with the design professional and/or contractor
  • Develops and manages budgets and schedules
  • Reviews and resolves change orders
  • With assistance of senior staff, develops RFQ, RFP and contracts
