Senior Project Manager

Summary

Looking for Senior Project Managers (SPM) to actively support CCM's commitment to provide high quality project management services to our clients, ability to manager large complex and multi-phased construction projects, and engage in management activities such as marketing staff training. The SPM plans, organizes, staffs, and controls assigned projects. The SPM assists in the selection of professional design and construction staff, in contract development and management, and manages projects to ensure delivery on time and within budget.

Essential duties / Responsibilities

Includes the following directly, through subordinates, or through agents, consultants or contractors.

  • Outreach to and selection of designers, consultants and contractor
  • Development of RFQ, RFP, and contracts
  • Develops, manages and analyzes project budget and cash flow
  • Acts as key point of contact for owner/client, architect/engineer, and general contractor, protecting owners' interests through managing project risks, and the commercial and legal aspects of contracts.
  • Recognizes early warning signs of risk and immediately implements measures to minimize potential for litigation.
  • Ensures that vital information and documentation is provided to team members and organizational decision-makers in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for the publishing of all reports, monthly and special reports.
  • Monitors the work and billings submitted by the design professional and/or contractor for appropriateness, timeliness and/or workmanship.
  • Reviews and resolves performance and billing problems with the design professionals and/or contractor.
  • Responsible for the timely review of CCM's billing for services, submittal of team’s timesheets, and for the correctness of the billing information.
