The five-story collaborative center for UCSF's Cardiovascular Research Institute and UCSF's Center for Prevention of Heart and Vascular Diseases includes an OSHPD 3 outpatient facility and laboratory space that focuses on advancing ways to predict and prevent these devastating illnesses. The facility brings basic research scientist and clinicians together under the same roof with the goal of accelerating a better understanding of cardiovascular diseases, such as heart attack and stroke. The project was designed and built using the Integrated Project Delivery model.
